My Mama, she's some kind of wonderful!

Yesterday we went over to my parents house with the kids. We went in separate cars, Xavier brought Kael, Tyson and two of Tyson's friends, Averion and O'neal. My mom made us all an awesome dinner and helped out with Kael. She's always doing things like that. With everything that she has going on in her own everyday schedule, she still takes so much time helping our family out with stuff. Really anything, whatever it may be. She always has the time. I know there are times when she may be tired or may not really feel like doing anything but she will still watch Kael and or Tyson if we need her. She does so much for my kids. She kept Tyson for so long when he was younger and recently has taken care of Kael too. Once I knew I couldn't take him to work with me anymore, I asked for her help again and she was there for us, no questions asked. This is a woman that really would give you the shirt off her own back if it was what you needed. She worries about me and how I'm doing. If we're on the phone and I sound even the slightest bit down, she always makes it a point to ask if I'm okay or how I'm doing. She is one of the most excepting people I know. She really would help anyone, not just her own family. She has done the things for and with my kids that I was afraid to or wasn't sure about. And it always works out. Having five kids of her own, she has extensive knowledge in child care and she's not afraid to try new things...even if I don't really agree with in the beginning. She would drive all the way to my job in Austin to bring me something to eat or give me a ride to a Dr's appt. Last week, she took me to my oral surgery, waited for me there, and then took me to La Madeleine for lunch! She's always sending food home with us when we go over there or asking if we need anything. Not to mention the conversations we have about relationships and life experiences. She always gives good advice and will listen to me go on and on and on...
There are so many more thing but I really just wanted to tell her how much I love her and how much myself and my family appreciates everything she does for us. Mom, I love you and you're the greatest!

060Have to ditto Amanda's comment, only because you were always like the kid sister to me, too. No really, love your blog's background motif! Your family is seriously cute, and I love the name Kael--I don't even think Amanda told me you were having another child. I better talk to her abou that...Happy blogging!
